APBSAustralia Disability and Community Services Network is delighted to present this session, for all APBS members and interested parties.

Presenters Include: Warren Forster (Barrister and research; CRPD & Human Rights Law, NZ), Debra Corfield (NDIS Commission) and Dr Astrid Birgden (Consultant, Forensic and Clinical Psychologist), with Dr Alinka Fisher as host.

Content will include:

Removing “risk management” as a barrier to PBS practitioners ensuring the full and effective participation in society for people living with disabilities: developing a human rights approach;

Enabling community participation, a family perspective;

Risk Management: NDIS provider requirements;

Risk management in PBS practice.
